Activity overview
Join our youth windsurfing community and take your skills to the next level! This club is designed for young windsurfers who have achieved RYA Stage 1 or an equivalent level of experience. It’s the perfect place to get on the water regularly, refine techniques, and build confidence while enjoying the thrill of windsurfing.
Each session is guided by our experienced instructors, who provide tips, feedback, and safety cover. Alongside improving skills, participants have the opportunity to make friends, take part in fun challenges, and enjoy the sport in a safe, supportive, and social environment. Sessions are flexible, with content adapted to suit weather conditions and participants’ abilities.
What to expect
- Practice of core windsurfing skills, including balance, steering, and sail control
- Techniques for tacking, gybing, and sailing on all points of sail
- Fun games, challenges, and activities to develop confidence and board control
- Safety guidance and supervision from experienced instructors
- A supportive environment that encourages social interaction and teamwork
Prerequisites & course minimum requirements
Participants must have achieved RYA Youth Stage 1 Windsurfing or equivalent. If you would like to discuss the suitability of this club for your child please contact the centre.
RYA Youth Stage 1 Windsurfing
Over two days, you’ll be introduced to the fundamentals of windsurfing, including balance, steering, and sail handling.
