Adult Sailing Club

Enjoy relaxed, instructor-led sailing sessions designed to boost your confidence and skills on the water. Perfect for adults with RYA Level 1 or equivalent experience.

Activity overview

The Adult Sailing Club is your chance to get out on the water regularly in a fun, supportive, and social setting. Designed for adults with at least RYA Level 1 or equivalent experience, these informal weekly sessions are led by friendly, qualified instructors who are there to help you develop your sailing at your own pace.

Whether you want to refine your technique, try new manoeuvres, or simply enjoy some quality time afloat, each week brings a new opportunity to learn and sail with others. With content shaped around the group and conditions, no two sessions are ever the same, keeping things fresh, flexible, and engaging.

What to expect

  • Weekly instructor-led sailing sessions
  • Flexible content tailored to weather and participant goals
  • A supportive, social atmosphere with like-minded adult sailors
  • Skills development at your own pace, no pressure, just progress
  • A safe, fun environment to boost your confidence on the water

Prerequisites & course minimum requirements

Sailors aged 16+ must have completed their RYA Level 1 qualification to participate. We highly recommend completing this course before joining the session to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

RYA Level 1

A 2-day introduction into sailing, no experience needed. We help you get your sea legs by using beginner friendly boats to make the learning transition as comfortable as possible, working towards your RYA Level 1 certificate.
