OnBoard Regatta Fleet Day

A one-day event for young sailors who are new to sailing and racing, with a focus on building skills, confidence and key character attributes.

Activity overview

Take part in a fun and supportive day on the water as part of the OnBoard Regatta Fleet. This event is designed for sailors under 16 who are newer to sailing and racing and want to build confidence before moving on to future regattas and competitions.

The focus of the day goes beyond sailing skills. We will work together on important character attributes that help you not only become a better sailor, but also grow as a person.

What to expect

Throughout the day we will work on character attributes such as:

  • Ambition, be the best you can be
  • Curiosity, fascination with the process of learning
  • Courage and determination, never give up
  • Ownership, take responsibility
